We are saddened to announce that The Rev. Ted Reinhardt, a retired priest living in Elliot Lake, died peacefully on December 2, 2018 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 86.

By now, many of you have heard the news that our Bishop was elected at the recent convocation of Provincial Synod, October 9-12, to serve as Ontario’s new Metropolitan. She will be installed to this office on October 11th during the Synod at Christ Church Cathedral, Ottawa, Primate Fred Hiltz will serve as preacher.
The Covenanting Service between Joan Morris and Trillium Anglican Parish will take place on Sunday, October 14th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s in Powassan.
Bishop Anne has been elected to serve as the next Metropolitan of the Province of Ontario. Elected on the first ballot, here she takes the podium for the first time at Provincial Synod in Ottawa.
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Anne Oosterbaan on Tuesday, October 2nd in Sault Ste. Marie following a brief illness. Anne was the wife of Din Oosterbaan, former Diocesan Treasurer and current Provincial Synod Treasurer.

Bishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce that Chris Pichette, preparing for chaplaincy in the Canadian Armed Forces, and presently serving a two year term as the Assistant Curate at St. Luke’s Cathedral, will be received into the Anglican Church of Canada on Sunday 21st October, as the Cathedral marks the Feast of St. Luke at the 10:00 a.m. service.
