The Rev. Joan Mitchell (retired Algoma) has requested prayers of her Diocesan family for her daughter, Karen, who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer of her liver and pelvic bone.

This has been a tragic week around the world, for numerous reasons, and I invite you to join with me in praying for those who have lost loved ones, as well as for those who are struggling to understand the events which resulted in their deaths.

Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the upcoming ordination of the Rev. Dr. Patti Brace, God willing, as a priest in the church of God. The ordination will be part of the opening service of Synod 2019 at St. Luke’s Cathedral, Sault Ste. Marie, on Wednesday, May 8th at 7 p.m.
The editor of the Algoma Anglican, the Rev. Peter Simmons, has advised that, due to lack of copy, there will be no April edition of the paper. The next deadline for the May edition is April 1st.
The Rev. Peter Simmons, Editor-Algoma Anglican, is requesting assistance from across the diocese. Share your stories and/or pictures with everyone! Deadline for the April edition is March 1st.
