Archbishop announces new appointment
Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the appointment of the Ven. Dawn Henderson as Part-time Incumbent of the Parish of St. Joseph and St. George effective April 1st, 2024.
Archdeacon Dawn is a priest with 34 years’ experience and is no stranger to Algoma as she has provided extensive ministry across the Diocese at Holy Trinity (Sault Ste. Marie), Christ Church (North Bay), All Saints’ (Huntsville), St. Mary Magdalene (Sturgeon Falls), and Church of the Redeemer (Thessalon). At the Diocesan level, she was Territorial Archdeacon for Muskoka Deanery for eleven years, a member of the Diocesan Strategic Plan Committee, and Regional Dean for Muskoka and Temiskaming Deaneries.
Dawn loves preaching, teaching, and all things musical including singing.
We welcome Archdeacon Dawn to her new role and uphold her and the parish in prayer as they begin ministry together.
