We are saddened to announce the death of the Rev. Canon John Thompson on November 6^th in Belleville at the age of 85 with loved ones by his side.  Canon John was Honourary Assistant Emeritus for Lake of Bays Parish and was Honourary Assistant with this parish since 2005.  Retired from the Diocese of Toronto, he was well-known within Muskoka Deanery and the Diocese appreciated his commitment to serving in our midst.
