Archbishop Anne has asked us to advise followers of the Diocesan e-news that a fake email account has been set up in her name.  People receiving it are being asked for help.  The address is her bishop’s e-mail address with a g-mail account (bishop.dioceseofalgoma *at* gmail.com).  E-mails are signed ‘Rev. Anne’.  The email address has been reported as spam.  In the meantime, please ignore any e-mail you receive from the above mentioned address.

People are advised that no Algoma cleric or lay person has permission to request gift cards from anyone via e-mail.
