Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Dr. Peter Armstrong as her Clerical Appointee on the Diocesan Executive Committee following the resignation of the Rev. Canon Dr. John Gibaut in November.

Rev. Peter is the Incumbent of St. Brice’s Anglican Church in North Bay and holds a Doctor of Ministry from the Toronto School of Theology.  He transferred to Algoma from the Diocese of Nova Scotia & PEI in 2015.

Peter is married to Nancy and they have two adult daughters.

+Anne is grateful to Rev. Peter for his willingness to take on this role serving the wider Diocese.  We congratulate him on this new appointment and look forward to welcoming him at our March Executive Committee meeting.
