We received word of the death of John (Jack) Howell on Sunday 4th September at home with his beloved wife of 62 years, Jacquie Howell by his side. We offer our deepest sympathies to Jacquie and family – their children Doug (Dee), Bruce (Nicolle),  Luke (Carly), Ben (Riley) and Kim (Geayt), and grandchildren. May the God of hope and peace surround the Howell family in this time of loss and sorrow, as we give thanks for his full and rich life. May he Rest In Peace and rise with Christ in glory.

Jack’s funeral service will be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church in Huntsville where Jack once served as a warden on Saturday September 10th at 11am with an interment at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on the Billingsley Funeral Home site.  The link is at the bottom of the obituary.  The Venerable Kelly Baetz will be officiating.

Jacquie is a former ACW Diocesan President and now serves as their Treasurer. Jack was her faithful and supportive ‘man behind the scenes’, offering a listening ear and helping out as he could.

Members of the ACW will remember Jack and Jacquie’s warm hospitality at Pow Wow Lodge which was their Muskoka home for a number of years.
