Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the following appointments in the Diocese of Algoma:

St. Thomas’ (Bracebridge)/Parish of Lake of Bays – The Rev. Canon Phelan Scanlon as Interim Incumbent commencing September 1, 2022.  Retired from the Diocese of Moosonee, Canon Phelan brings with him a deep appreciation of the church’s worship life, a focus on building strong pastoral relationships, and a strong desire to engage people in formation and education.  We uphold Canon Phelan, the people of St. Thomas’ and Lake of Bays in prayer as they prepare to begin ministry together.

Gathering Table (Thunder Bay) – The Rev. Ann Camber as Incumbent of the parish commencing September 15, 2022.  Rev. Ann is well-known in Thunder Bay Deanery as she has been involved in St. Paul’s Church for a number of years in many capacities, and has been serving most recently in diaconal ministry with the Churches of St. Thomas, St. James, and St. Mark’s.  We uphold Rev. Ann and the people of Gathering Table in prayer as they prepare to begin ministry together.
