In a small but beautiful celebration on the Memorial of Ambrose, Bishop of Milan, Katherine Walker was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons by Archbishop Anne Germond at St. Luke’s Cathedral, Sault Ste. Marie.  The Very Rev. James McShane, Dean of Algoma, was the preacher.

Currently the Assistant Curate, Rev. Katherine is preparing for ministry as a Chaplain in the military and will serve at the Cathedral for two years.

We congratulate Rev. Katherine and uplift her in prayer as she prepares for her priesting in the new year.
