2021 Grant Awards Celebration
I am delighted to say that the Board of Directors of the Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) has approved nearly $650,000 in grants and bursaries to 110 applicants as part of its November grant cycle, bringing the Canada-wide 2021 grant awards total to more than $835,000.
This includes an astonishing $470,000 in funding for the Say Yes! to Kids Request for Proposals: the largest one-time investment in youth-focused ministry the Canadian church has seen.
You will be happy to learn that the Diocese of Algoma embraced Say Yes! to Kids with a spirit of innovation and creativity. Six of your youth-focused ministry projects have been approved for a total of $27,120 in funding. This brings your 2021 diocesan grant awards total to $38,120!
