We have been fielding some comments in the Synod office about whether the provincial government’s alterations to the 3-step reopening process for Ontario will have any impact on the roadmap for Algoma published last week.

Next Tuesday, the epidemiological consultant for the ecclesiastical province will be meeting with the Provincial House of Bishops, Executive Officers, and others with oversight responsibilities for pandemic protocols in our dioceses.

It is our intention in Algoma not to make any adjustments to what we issued last week before next week’s consultation. Should any changes result at that time, we will promptly notify you.
