The Lay Readers of the diocese will be gathering this coming weekend (September 27-29) in Parry Sound for the annual Lay Readers’ Conference.

The Rev. Canon Martha Tatarnic will be guest speaker on the evening of September 27th (7:30-8:30 p.m.).  She is the author of The Living Diet – A Christian Journey to Joyful Eating which will be available at the conference.  All are welcome to attend her presentation.

We ask you to uphold in prayer the Lay Readers across the diocese as they prepare to join together to celebrate their ministries and learn and grow with one another over the weekend.  We pray for travelling mercies for all those on the road to attend the gathering.  We pray for all on the planning committee who have worked to organize the event and for all those quietly assisting behind the scenes.
