While summer vacations are on the horizon for many people, plans for September are also being made. So, you are again reminded of the two day conference in Sudbury to be held on Sept. 21 & 22 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The early-bird registration deadline of July 1 is fast approaching, and registration fees will increase after that. You will not want to miss this significant event in the life of the church as we think about where we as followers of Jesus have been, where we are, and where we are going. There will be participation from the Indigenous community to facilitate discussions on how we can make right relations with the Indigenous people a part of ongoing reformation efforts.

Please get the word out to all the people in our churches so that everyone interested can be included in this once-in-a-lifetime event. It is important to note that about 10 different Christian denominations within Sudbury are participating in the planning of this event which is an encouraging sign of how the body of Christ can be one.
