The Reverend Glen Miller has been appointed as Archdeacon of the Deanery of Sudbury-Manitoulin as of January 1, 2017. Archdeacon Miller is the Incumbent of the joint parishes of Lively since 2001 and of Copper Cliff since 2008 and has served as a Pastoral Chaplain since 2010. The Diocese is grateful to our new Archdeacon for his willingness to take on this sometimes very heavy work. A date for the Service of Collation will be determined in the near future. We assure Glen of our prayers as he begins this new ministry.
He succeeds Bishop-elect Anne Germond who has served as Archdeacon for the deanery since 2010. Bishop Germond has been serving in three roles since her election in October. She has been Incumbent of the Ascension parish in Sudbury, Archdeacon of the Deanery, while also undertaking a growing body of work as she prepares to take on this new ministry at her Consecration and Installation on February 11.
