Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce the upcoming ordination, God willing, of The Reverend Aidan Armstrong to the Priesthood on the Feast of St Mary Magdalene, 22 July 2016. The service will take place at St Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Mindemoya at 2 p.m. Clergy and Lay Readers are invited to robe and process. The colour will be red.

Mr Aidan Armstrong graduated in May from the MDiv programme at Wycliffe College in the Pioneer Ministry stream. A lifelong Anglican, Aidan grew up in London, Ontario, and has a BA in Theology from Huron University College. This summer, he will serve as the community of St Christopher, McGregor Bay, before taking up appointment as the Incumbent of the Manitoulin Island Parishes comprised of St. Paul’s (Manitowaning), St. Francis of Assisi (Mindemoya), Holy Trinity (Little Current), All Saints’ (Gore Bay) and St. John the Evangelist (Kagawong) on 1 September 2016. This December he is planning to wed his fiancée, Sarah Jackson.
