Bishop Andrews has accepted the resignation of The Reverend Jeffery Hooper as the Incumbent of the combined parish of Almaguin and Emsdale, effective 31 December 2014. Jeffery was appointed to the parish four years ago. He is relocating to Sudbury while his wife, Michelle, studies medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

A former Computer Science major, he received his MDiv (Hons) from Wycliffe College. He was made a Deacon in 2010 and ordained to the Priesthood in 2011. He and Michelle served an internship in the Diocese of West Ankole in the Church of Uganda in 2009. He has served on the diocesan Communications Team, and continues as the Bishop’s Appointment to the Diocesan Youth Ministry Committee. He and Michelle have three children.
