Bishop announces new appointments

Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce the following Interim appointments to parishes:

 

The Rev. Canon Paul Carr:  to the Parish of West Thunder Bay effective June 1, 2014.  Paul has been the Honorary Assistant at the parish since 2005 following his retirement from St. Paul’s, Thunder Bay.  He is the Pastoral Chaplain for Thunder Bay-North Shore Deanery.

 

The Rev. Canon Edna Murdy:  to the Parish of Emsdale/Almaguin effective September 8, 2014, during the paternity leave of the Rev. Jeffery Hooper.  Edna is retired from the Diocese of Moosonee but is no stranger to Algoma.  She has served as Honorary Assistant at Emsdale and makes her home in Kearney.

 

The Ven. Linda White:  to St. John the Divine, North Bay, effective October 1, 2014.  Linda is recently retired from the Parish of Northern Lights and is the former Archdeacon of Temiskaming Deanery.

 

We welcome Paul, Edna, and Linda and request that you uphold them in prayer as they minister to parishes in transition.
