Condolences to the Crouch family

CROUCH, Mary Jane (nee Walker) - It is with sad hearts that the family announces the passing of Mary Jane Crouch, on January 26, 2014. Mary Jane passed peacefully and quietly at True Davidson Acres in Toronto in her 83rd year. Mary Jane was the youngest daughter of Ross and Bertha Walker of King City, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, The Rev. Canon Jack Crouch. She will be missed by her four children Tim, Stephen, Judy and Jamie; their spouses, Jane, Lise, Pierre and Alison; her nine grandchildren and her two great grandchildren. Meeting at Camp Couchiching, Mary Jane started a 58 year partnership with her sweetheart Jack, Mary Jane was the "Parson's Wife" at parishes at Dunbarton, Pickering; All Saints, Kingsway; St. Barnabas, Toronto; St. Bedes, Scarborough; St. John the Divine, Copper Cliff, Ontario; St. George, Echo Bay, Ontario; St. James, Goulais River, Ontario; along with Summer Ministries at Presqu'ile Provincial Park and Christ Church Gregory, Muskoka. Mary Jane's early work with the ACW (Anglican Church Women) was instrumental in her later development of Anglican Church's Marriage Preparation and Marriage Enrichment courses. Mary Jane was also involved in pastoral care, leading her to family counselling with the Pastoral Institute of Northern Ontario at Huntington College, Laurentian University, Sudbury. The family would like to thank everyone at True Davidson Acres LTC for their care, concern and so very kind words. Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1170 Tynegrove Rd., Mississauga, Ontario (Burnhamthorpe Rd. E, at Golden Orchard Dr.) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Primates World Relief and Development Fund would be appreciated. Donations can be made on-line via the (PWRDF page)
