Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce the following appointments to the Youth Ministry Committee:

Bishop’s Appointee (Youth) – Cora Felbel

Cora was just recently appointed as the Sudbury-Manitoulin Deanery Youth Coordinator and has extensive experience working with youth.

Bishop’s Appointee (Adult) – The Reverend Jeffery Hooper

Jeffery is the Incumbent of the Parish of the Good Shepherd (Emsdale) and Almaguin Parish.  He has been an advocate for youth involvement within the Diocese and is experienced with the “Godly Play” program as he so capably demonstrated at both our last Diocesan Synod and Youth Synod.

Bishop’s Appointee (Deanery Child and Youth Ministry Facilitator liaison) – Lynne Preston

Lynne is the current DCYMF for Muskoka Deanery and is anxious to work with YMC in a liaison role to support the activities of youth within the Diocese.

We congratulate Cora, Jeffery, and Lynne on their new appointments and wish them well as they undertake this ministry within the Diocese of Algoma.
