New Incumbent for St John's, Sault Ste Marie

Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce the appointment of Pamela Rayment to the position of part-time Incumbent of St John's Church in Sault Ste Marie, beginning 1 June 2013.  

Pam has completed her course work for a Master of Divinity degree from Wycliffe College and will be graduating in May.  She is a graduate of Canadore College where she majored in Print Journalism and Interactive Multimedia.  She was a youth worker and youth programme committee member at St. Brice’s, North Bay, before moving to Sault Ste Marie and getting involved at St Matthew’s Church.  She has been both the Program Associate and Child and Youth Ministry Facilitator for the Algoma Deanery, duties she will resume next month.  

Pam is married to Jeremy, an instructor at Sault College, and they have a son, Logan.  Bishop Andrews is planning to ordain Pam to the diaconate at the Synod Service on 8th May 2013, at St Luke's Cathedral, 7:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend.
