December 13, 2010

1. It is with sadness that we bid adieu to The Rev’d Joan Cavanaugh-Clark. Joan has accepted an appointment in the Parish of Minden-Kinmount in the Diocese of Toronto. She will begin her ministry there 15 February 2011 and is looking forward to being closer to her family. Joan is a graduate of Thorneloe University and has her Master of Divinity from Trinity College. She was ordained to the diaconate and the priesthood in 2006 by Bishop Ferris and began her parish ministry in Schreiber and Marathon. In 2008, she was appointed to the incumbencies of Powassan, Callander, Restoule and Chisholm. In 2008 she also represented the Diocese of Algoma at the International Anglican Women’s Network in the Marketplace at the Lambeth Conference. We shall miss Joan and her husband, Allan, and wish them God’s blessing as she takes up her new charge in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands.
